Established and endorsed by the Ministry of Higher Education in 1393, the Faculty of Medical Science at Bost University boasts a thriving community of over 800 students, guided by a cadre of 50+ seasoned experts, masters, and bachelor-level educators.

With a rich legacy spanning over 7 round of graduates, the Department of Curative Medicine has conferred degrees upon 500+ graduates, of both male and female students.

Complementing the Department of Curative Medicine are three auxiliary departments: Paraclinic, Internal, and Surgery. These departments, alongside well-equipped laboratories for Physiology, Physics, Chemistry, and histopathology, including a computer lab, offer a robust infrastructure for hands-on learning.

To fortify practical training, the faculty operates a teaching hospital where students engage in rotations across various medical specialties, including internal medicine, general surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, dermatology, pediatrics, neurology, psychiatry, gynecology, and ophthalmology. This 24-hour facility is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities such as a medical laboratory, blood bank, sonography, radiography, and fully equipped operating rooms, facilitating precise diagnosis and treatment.

Within these departments, a dedicated team of specialists, medical practitioners, nursing professionals, and laboratory technicians offer their expertise and services free of charge to all citizens, with the exception of medication costs. On average, the hospital accommodates 250 patients daily, ensuring universal access to comprehensive healthcare services.

The Faculty of Medicine at Bost University aims to establish itself as a trailblazing institution in both medical scientific research and the development of high-caliber medical professionals. Our strategic emphasis on modern medical research standards underscores our commitment to making substantial advancements in healthcare, not just locally in the southern region, but on a national scale as well.

By furnishing state-of-the-art medical educational and practical resources, the Faculty of Medicine at Bost University has equipped its graduates with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that adhere to contemporary scientific standards.
