The Bost Institute of Health Sciences was established in Lashkar Gah, Helmand Province, with a license number 3111 from the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan in 1392/03/02.

Overview

The Bost Institute of Health Sciences has developed its own teaching method and curriculum in accordance with the rules and regulations of private institutes of the Ministry of Public Health. Having trained students in the health sector through professional and professional instructors and presenting them to the community; To play a constructive role in reducing the existing health problems of the community.

Bost Institute of Health Sciences will conduct its first entrance examination in the fields of Nursing, Advanced Midwifery, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory and Dental Prosthetics in the presence of a representative of the Ministry of Public Health and practically started its operations in 1393/09/07.

From the establishment of Bost Institute of Health Sciences till year 1399 has graduated 473 students in total from which 153 female and 320 are male students. 

Bost Institute of Health Sciences currently has 597 male and female students studying under 32 professional instructors.

Pharmacy is the science that studies the structure, control, maintenance, administration and management of medicine and other medical devices. Pharmacy, like all other sciences, has undergone evolutionary changes over time and is still in its infancy, although pharmacy has long been associated with medicine.

But pharmacy has a historical background. In the beginning, the practice of pharmacy was in the hands of a limited number of people in the society, such as tribal leaders, religious leaders, mystics and magicians. Which later turned enlightened thinkers and scholars into a social function.

Vision

As the world changes and evolves, the acquisition of knowledge and skills can play an important role in healthcare. It is hoped that the use of medicines will play a pivotal role in the transformation, enhancement and expansion of health services.

Mission

The main mission of the foundation is to educate and train pharmacist assistants. Which can perform the following functions in the healthcare system: *In the health and education of individuals. * Collaborate in scientific research. * In the implementation of medical services. By training this force we can make significant progress in the health sector of the community.
