The Faculty of Computer Science was approved and established by the Ministry of Higher Education in the framework of Bost University in the year 1393 and started its activities in the year 1395. The course of study in the Faculty of Computer Science is (8) semester with two years general and the remaining two years are divided into three departments namely Software Engineering, Information Technology and Information Systems where the Information Technology Department is currently functioning.
Teaching in this faculty is carried out practically and theoretically and with the help of new technology. The faculty has 185 students, 8 of whom are girls, and is taught by 16 bachelor’s and master’s teachers.
The Faculty of Computer Science wants to equip the computer literate cadres with the quality of computer technology to serve the society in terms of quality and to emerge as a leading faculty at the national level.
The Faculty of Computer Science is responsible for providing the necessary facilities in the theoretical and scientific field of the professional and specialized departments under the umbrella of Bost University in accordance with the laws of the Ministry of Higher Education and enforcing academic norms so that the youth of the country can.
